CRR is an initiative promoted by AASO in collaboration with Shamir, EssilorLuxottica, Zeiss, Alcon, and DPD, addressing the need to implement sustainable practices in optical waste management. This innovative project offers an effective and dedicated approach to sustainability.

1. Simple and Practical Solution: We facilitate the transition to sustainable practices by providing customized collection boxes for each optician. The process is straightforward and efficient.

How It Works?
Customized CRR Boxes: We provide collection boxes tailored to the dimensions of your optical store. Placed strategically, they encourage the deposition of waste.
Collection at Opticians:Participating opticians place the collection boxes in-store, strategically positioned to encourage the deposit of old eyewear and used contact lenses.
Efficient Transport: DPD transports the collected waste to a central warehouse.
Sorting and Valorization: At the warehouse, AASO meticulously sorts the waste. Frames in ideal conditions are separated for reuse, contributing to the circular economy. The remaining waste is directed towards social responsibility projects, incineration, and research.
AASO ensures guidance throughout the entire process, from collection to sorting, ensuring effective participation aligned with sustainable principles.
