On the 24th of May 2023, AASO - Associação de Apoio à Sustentabilidade da Óptica visited Shamir and its factory, in Vilar, Vila do Conde, at the invitation of Luís Feijó, CEO Shamir and Vogal AASO.
Rui Motty, President AASO; Alexandre Marvão, AASO Vice-President; and Nuno Rama, Assistant Director AASO.
The visit to the factory was led by Luis Feijó, CEO and Silvia Duarte, from Shamir's Quality Department. AASO elements were able to witness the entire lens manufacturing process and environmental sustainability that the company currently has in place.
